The Work Force Management suite is a tried, tested, and reliable application that offers

• Dashboards to quickly view statuses, overtime, and get business alerts
• Dozens of stock reports to quickly view data as needed as well as experts to offer ad-hoc when you need something special
• Optional integration with data systems (ERP, Routing, GPS, vehicle inventory, etc.) so you only enter once, use everywhere in WFM and lessen the amount of data entry necessary
• Employee time verification, when combined with our timeclock solution, to easily set the time in which to pay an employee with an easy-to-understand expense setup for who is responsible and what was done to determine your budget codes automatically
• Accurate gross pay calculation with customized support for exporting employee and GL information to your ERP system (including Ascender, Sun Guard Pentamation, ADP, and more)

History

• Originally known as PowerFleet, 1st version developed by DCS in early 2000s
• 2nd version developed by DCS and Mindsphere Technology Group in 2007 to add activity based management and EIC Biometric time clock
• In 2010, DCS and Mindsphere Technology Group formed a partnership to:
  • Create a workforce management application
  • Redevelop the trip management application
  • Package the applications to form a PowerFleet solution for transportation
• 3rd version implemented in June 2012
• Our latest version initially implemented in October 2020
  • The application was migrated to HTML 5.0 under the Microsoft .NET Core 3.x framework
  • Our Employee Information Center, or EIC, timeclock application was migrated to be Windows based. A mobile solution based on the .NET MAUI framework is coming soon.
  • EIC extended to be web based to include QR code clock in/out support for remote workers
  • Application support follows the .NET Long Term Support releases as well as enhancement requests from our end users.
